Polished Concrete

Polishing is the most widely used of the concrete surface treatments.

It is described as a floor covering, but nothing is added to the slab: polishing improves the concrete you already have. The laitance layer is removed and the surface is worked through successive stages with metal-bonded and resin-bonded diamonds.

Concrete of any class can be polished — C20, C25, C30, C35 — with the method chosen to suit the project and what the area has to cope with.

The finished floor is dust-free, takes vehicle traffic and has a bright, decorative surface.
